DESCRIPTION:Parent Appreciation Week!  December 18-20\, 2023 – 5:00-7:30pm \nHey Mom & Dad – what would you do with an extra hour or two before Christmas? Would you like some extra time to wrap presents knowing your kiddo won’t find you\, how about finish up that last minute shopping\, or maybe even go on a date with your spouse? You could even enjoy a bubble bath with a glass of wine and a book uninterrupted……sound too good to be true? Well\, this December we were thinking about how we could look after you\, our dance parents\, and we got the idea to shift dance classes into full party mode Dec. 18-20! \nYep\, we want to see your dancer at the studio for the ultimate in Christmas parties! Every dancer is invited to come to the studio between 5:00-7:30pm (yes even if they only have a 30 minute class they can stay the whole time). \nWhile you are looking after the things you need to get done\, we will do some dancing\, show off our routines to each other\, play dance games\, do crafts\, and have a great time at the studio. It is our gift to you! We will also make a rare exception to our no food/drink policy and have a Hot Cocoa and Coffee Bar. So come in and grab a treat to enjoy on us when you drop off or pick up your dancer. Of course\, you’re welcome to meet and mingle in the lobbies too. Whatever suits your fancy for a little YOU time! \nHere is how it works – if your dancer’s regular class is on a Monday\, Tuesday or Wednesday – they come to the party on their regularly scheduled day. If they dance Thursday – they party on Wednesday since we are closed Thursday\, Dec. 21 for Winter Break. The only change is the time – all parties will be held from 5pm-7:30pm Monday-Wednesday. Adult Ballet/ Jazz\, Clog Team and Hip Hop/Urban dancers – we blocked time after the parties for your classes so feel free to stay a little later for some extra practice.

SUMMARY:Hometown Holiday parade
DESCRIPTION:Hometown Holiday Parade in downtown Kennewick is open to all dancers! Saturday\, December 2\, 2023. 8:00am – 12pm.  We have a trailer for young dancers to ride on\, fun dances for older dancers\, and a flatbed trailer for the cloggers. All dancers on the float\, dancers on the street\, and walkers will wear a blue holiday cape for the parade. \nWe want ALL dancers\, cloggers and their families to participate. Young dancers will sit on the trailer with side rails pulled by a pickup. Older dancers will walk /dance in the parade. We will teach a fun dance routine the morning of the parade. Dress warmly and come join the fun.  Remember your Hats and gloves\, Christmas hats & gloves welcome. We will wear our blue capes over our warm clothes.  We will play holiday music you can sing along with and wave to the crowd. Hand and foot warmers are good to wear inside gloves to keep extremities warm.  WATER in spill proof containers is allowed. Be sure to put your name on it. \nCloggers will be on the Blue Lampson semi-truck. Beginning Cloggers are welcome to ride on the Lampson Trailer if they choose. Wear white turtleneck under your clogging t-shirt and Blue Clogging or Studio jackets.  Plain Black pants (not leggings); hair side-parted and secured at the nape of the neck with a black hair band. Remember your lipstick\, water\, white gloves and Santa/holiday hats. Bring blue studio t-shirts in case we need to adjust. We will dance fun routines and want ALL cloggers on the float!  Even if you do not know the routines\, we still want you on the float! \nSATURDAY MORNING: \n8:00 am Arrival time to decorate the trucks & trailers. We will meet in Downtown Kennewick at the parade Staging Area. We are usually staged on Kennewick Ave between Dayton and Everett. Parking is located at the former Tri-City Herald building\, Everett and First Avenue\, and Cascade and First Avenue ( See Map Attached) We will receive final staging assignments and arrival instructions later this week. We will let you know where we will be\, as soon as we know. \nPLEASE\, we need help with decorating and loading/unloading sound equipment. We also need parent volunteers for many other activities for a successful parade.  See the list below and let us know how you can help. \n8:30 am Review parade dance. \n9:00 am Arrival time for young dancers riding on the float. We will meet at the truck and brief our volunteer walkers at this time. (Again\, see the volunteer list below) \nCapes will be available for check out at 9:00am. Please allow time to check out capes if you are borrowing one. We still have cape kits available if you would like to customize your cape! Pick up cape kits by 7:30pm on Thursday\, November 30th. \n9:15 am Group Photo in front of the floats! Then we take care of last-minute bathroom breaks\, load up and get ready to get in line! \n10:00 am: Parade Begins\, we are #23. All dancers must be on their floats or in place by this time. \nEnd of Parade: we will meet back where we started to unload and undecorate. Please stay to help with this\, many hands make this job go quickly. Street dancers will walk back to the staging area on a side street\, do not follow the trucks which will take a longer route due to street closures. \nMiss Wendy also NEEDS and greatly appreciates help back at the studio unloading the parade supplies from the dance van\, after the parade. Again\, MANY hands make it light work.

DESCRIPTION:We are sad to announce that Kennewick lifecare called to let us know they had to cancel the performance scheduled for Oct 30th. \nDiamond Ridge Cloggers \, Twinkle Stars\, and Stars in Motion\, will be performing at Kennewick Lifecare at 7:00pm \nCall time: 6:30 \nWe have been invited to perform at Kennewick Lifecare. We are excited to perform for one of our favorite audiences.  This will be our Halloween performance. Please wear a costume you can dance in for an extra fun treat for our guests. Arrive at 6:30pm. Enter through the South entrance on 7th street. When you enter the first set of doors\, find the door code on the wall for the keypad to enter the second door. The show is in the cafeteria\, go down to the nurse’s station and turn left.  We will perform at 7:00pm. DESCRIPTION:The Diamond Ridge Cloggers will perform in Downtown Prosser\, near the courthouse on Meade Ave. and 5th St. The stage is on Meade near Banner Bank \, There is parking on 5th near US Bank (1022 Meade Ave\, Prosser\, WA 99350) ( Meade St is closed for the Festival). \nWe will meet in front of the Post Office ( Two doors down from Banner Bank on Meade & 5th – 1103 Meade Ave\, Prosser\, WA 99350) \n10:30 – Cloggers arrive\, ready to dance. \n11:00 – Show time! \nFull costumes and remember your water and berry colored lipstick.  Full costume is gold top\, black pants (rhinestone pants for Clog Team dancers)\, tan tights with clogging/tap shoes (no socks). Clog Team bring Grease jackets/costume and Stars & Stripes costume with gloves. \nFemales – Hair side-parted and secured at the nape of the neck with a black hair band.
